I’ve Been Quiet But I’ve Been Working

Updated: 2 days ago

Hi Angels,

I’ve been taking time to move with intention.

There’s been a lot said online, some of it confusing, some of it harmful, and much of it simply misinformation. I want you to see the truth for yourself, and I’m putting together the receipts so you can.

This isn’t about rushing to defend myself. It’s about making sure what’s shared is complete, clear, and fair. The receipts page I’m building will lay out the facts so you can decide for yourself what’s real and what’s not.

I also want to be clear about something that matters most to me: the people most affected by this aren’t me, they’re the sex workers we sponsor. Every hour I spend addressing misinformation is an hour I’m not spending getting them access to exclusive offerings, education, and resources that were already in motion.

For example, the next sponsored workshop had over 124 submissions. These spots could already be filled and making an impact, but instead we’ve had to pause to address false claims.

I know silence can feel uneasy, and I understand if some of you have been unsure during this time. For me, the priority has always been to protect the integrity of the work, the people involved, and the community we’ve built together.

The $tripped Project has always been more than classes and events, it’s about creating safe, supportive, and honest spaces for sex workers. That’s still the mission.

Thank you to everyone who’s checked in, asked questions, or stood by the project through this. Your support is the reason I can keep going.

You’ll have the receipts soon. And when you do, I trust you’ll see the bigger picture.

More soon,

Sativah | The $tripped Project
